PhD Gustavo Sadot Sosa Núñez
Biography
Gustavo Sadot Sosa-Nunez holds a PhD in Politics from the University of East Anglia.
He is member (level 1) of the Mexican National Researchers’ System (SNI). He was
post-doctoral research associate at the Faculty of Political and Social Sciences of
the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). He has worked in the public and
private sectors both in Mexico and abroad. His research interests refer to the
analysis of environmental public policies, their outcomes and convergence processes
at regional level. Through comparative assessments, he has evaluated air quality,
forestry, and climate change policies both of Mexico and with relation to North
America (USA and Canada), as well as in the European Union. He has also researched
on genetically modified maize labelling policies in the same geographical areas. He
has particular interest in international cooperation on carbon cycle science and
ocean policy in North America.
