Requirements
  1. Bachelor of the Arts Degree in history or related disciplines.
  2. Studies certificate of Bachelor of the Arts degree with an average grade point of 8.0 (minimum)
  3. Academic selection contest: test and interview of applicants selected in first stage process.
  4. English language competence certificate. If the applicant’s mother tongue is not Spanish, a Spanish language certificate will be requested.
  5. The Mora Institute requests their students a full-time dedication to the program. Thus, it is incompatible with any work activity.
  6. A research project belonging to one of the research lines offered in the master’s (a maximum 10-page document, including explanation of the problem, objectives, hypothesis, chapters, and excluding bibliographic references and sources). 
Required documents:

 

  1. Registration online  as to January 2016 ​ 
  2. Photocopy of Birth certificate
  3. Photocopy of Bachelor of the Arts Degree
  4. Photocopy of Studies certificate
  5. Proof of English language competence issued by a higher education institution (maximum validity: three years)
  6. Photocopy of address proof (electricity, water or telephone bill)
  7. Photocopy of Electoral identity card and CURP (Single Code of Population Register)
  8. Official letter of average grade point in Bachelor of the Arts degree (minimum 8.0). In case of having made the Bachelor of the Arts degree abroad, the applicant will be requested to submit an equivalent document issued by the Department of Validation and Academic Support of the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), through the e-mail sandra_salas@dgire.unam.mx 
  9. Resume with corresponding proof documents
  10. Two  Carta de recomendacion.docletters of academic recommendation in the formats from the Mora Institute’s website (Carta de recomendación.doc).  The corresponding form must be delivered to the professor who will fill it in and then send it to the School Services Department to the following e-mail: sescolares@mora.edu.mx
  11. A color photography in jpg format
  12. Letter stating the applicant’s motives to apply for our postgraduate studies.
  13. Copy of the dissertation or research made as final work to obtain the Bachelor of the Arts (digital format).
  14. Health Certificate(Certificado de salud.pdf).  , in the form of the Institute’s website
  15. Research project (as indicated in the requirements and in digital format).
