Welcome
This PhD program consists of specialization studies on Modern and Contemporary History (from the end of the colonial period to 20th century), including areas such as social, economical, cultural, and political history, oral history, urban and regional history. It provides the opportunity to deepen the knowledge on the history of Mexico, the United States, the Caribbean, and Latin America. The program is registered in the National Program of Quality Postgraduate Studies (PNPC) of the National Council for Science and Technology (Conacyt), in the
“Consolidated”
,It is an eight-semester course, and it is partially off-campus,
as from the third semester students work exclusively on their dissertations.
