PhD candidate in Development Studies from the University of the Basque Country. Her academic works have focused on the cooperation between middle-income countries, South-South and triangular cooperation, and international cooperation related to higher education processes. She has taken part in several research-action projects on cooperation for development of the National Council for Science and Technology (CONACYT), the Spanish Agency of International Cooperation for Development, Inter-American Development Bank, and Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development, such as the projects derived from the Mexican Agenda of International Cooperation 208-2015 at the Mora Institute, and the development of work cases of South-South cooperation Task Team on South-South Cooperation. She is a member of the ECSA-Mexico Association of Studies on the European Union. Some of the publications she has coordinated are: International Cooperation for Development in Mexico. Towards a Participation Agenda, with Beatriz Schmukler and Gabriela Sánchez, and Mexico and Middle Income Countries in International Cooperation for Development, with Jorge Pérez Pineda. Currently she is responsible of the collection International Cooperation and Development Handbooks in Mora Institute. She has taught at several higher education institutions, such as the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), Anáhuac Mexico South University, and Mora Institute. Since February 2013, she has been Academic Coordinator of the Master’s in International Cooperation for Development at the Mora Institute.
